Mauro Glorioso, JD


Mauro Glorioso serves as the Executive Director of the Property Tax Appeal Board (PTAB) and served on the board from 2008-2019. Glorioso served as Chairman of the Board from 2015-2019.  Prior to his service on the board, Mr. Glorioso served the PTAB as an administrative law judge, where he presided over a number of cases involving property tax assessment disputes and issued numerous written decisions. Glorioso is an Illinois licensed attorney at law. He is also an Illinois licensed real estate broker for the past 30 years. Professionally, Glorioso is:

  • a past president of the Justinian Society of Lawyers;
  • he has served three terms on the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) board of governors;
  • he has been an ISBA elected officer as both the ISBA's Secretary and its Treasurer;
  • he has also served as an arbitrator for the circuit court of Cook County and as a college instructor.

Glorioso earned his bachelor of arts in business finance from Saint Xavier University in Chicago (1991). Mauro is a graduate of the John Marshall Law School (JMLS) in Chicago (1997) and sits on the JMLS alumni board.

Mr. Glorioso is also a member of a number of various legal, professional, and charitable organizations. Mr. Glorioso resides in Westchester with his wife, Pearl, his daughter, Mary, and son, Nicholas.
