Jim Bilotta

Jim Bilotta was appointed to the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board in October of 2011.  Mr. Bilotta has been an Illinois Licensed Appraiser since 2003.  Prior to serving on the Property Tax Appeal Mr. Bilotta was a member of the Will County Board where he was first elected in 2002 and served three terms or 10 years.  During his time on the Will County Board his leadership roles included:

• Majority Leader;
• Majority Whip;
• Chairman of Public Works and Transportation;
• Chairman of Land Use and Zoning;
• And, Commissioner of Will County Forest Preserve District.

Mr. Bilotta has an extensive background in owning, developing, and managing affordable and market rate housing and has served on local and regional planning boards.  Mr. Bilotta currently lives in Lockport (Will County) with his wife Elizabeth and their two children.
